The Gault Center’s Youth Defender Leadership Summit – BEEHIVE SESSIONS

The Gault Center has incorporated “Beehive Sessions” into the agenda for the 2025 Youth Defender Leadership Summit. This year’s conference will be streamed virtually, with some Beehive Sessions occurring at local in-person gathering sites. The Gault Center’s annual conference set for October 17 – 18, 2025. The Beehive Sessions are interactive and creative spaces designed for participants to do the following:
- Connect with other youth defense professionals.
- Engage in strategic discussions.
- Develop plans for how to implement the ideas and strategies from the virtual conference in their local jurisdictions.
By offering a hybrid format—the main conference online, with local “Beehives” for in-person community building—the Gault Center allows for a nationwide gathering while also sparking collective action on a local level.
