SCHEDULE:
- 9:30 AM – Breakfast
- 10:00 AM – Workshops and Advocacy Training
- 11:30 AM – Lunch
- 12:00 – 4:00 PM – Advocacy
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Workshops & Training: You’ll receive all the expert training and support you need to feel confident sharing your perspective alongside other advocates.
- Meet with Lawmakers: Join small groups to discuss the reality you see in your experiences and your community with legislators and their staff.
- Networking & Community: Connect with others advocates who have joined the effort to create a new future for youth across the state.
FAQ:
- HOTELS: Everyone will be coordinating their own hotel reservations. Though we do have a hotel block reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. HOTEL BLOCK LINK.
- PARKING: We recommend the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage as the closest public parking location. Address: (1201 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX 78701) $12 maximum daily charge – no overnight parking.
- GATHERING SPACE: We will be meeting in the Legislative Conference Center inside the Capitol Building – Room E2.002A
