This comprehensive Juvenile Law program offers an in-depth look at every stage of youth defense, from detention hearings and discovery through certification and disposition. Attendees will explore effective mitigation and investigation strategies, community-based advocacy, and key issues in school law, including education code and weapons on campus. The agenda also covers expert testimony in juvenile court, TJJD procedures, diversion and alternative disposition options, determinate sentencing, and the unique challenges of juvenile sex cases.
