Who qualifies for membership in LSDC?

Membership in LSDC is open to advocates for youth, including:

Juvenile Defense Counsel
- Public Defenders
- Court-Appointed Defense Counsel
- Panel Attorneys
- Private Defense Counsel
Social Workers
Other Youth Advocates

Individuals who are in any way involved, directly or indirectly, in any law enforcement or prosecution activity, or who are judicial officers, or court staff members are not eligible for PJDC membership.

I am engaged in policy or research or legislative work in the areas of juvenile and / or criminal justice. I teach in the areas of juvenile and / or criminal justice. I perform support work in the area of juvenile justice. (e.g. social worker or education advocate). None of the above.
